Occasionally Young Explorers will organise centre excursions. Parents will be informed of these events well in advance and invited to attend as parent helpers. We will follow our excursion policy to ensure adult to child ratios are met and educators will undertake a risk analysis to ensure we identify any potential hazards.
On enrolment you will be asked for permission for Young Explorers educators to take your child on short walks or outings within the community. Educator to child ratios will be maintained as per the excursion policy.
Children love celebrating specil events. At Young Explorers we are happy to acknowledge and celebrate these events with you, so please discuss with us anything you would like us to do to make your child's day memorable.
The centre will celebrate various significant cultural celebrations throughout the year and would appreciate your support and knowledge of your unique culture.
