Each parent is asked to complete an enrolment form which will be included in your enrolment pack. This form must be completed prior to your child starting at Young Explorers Early Learning Centre. Please ensure the information is accurate and updated when necessary. Parents are responsible for any amendments to this information and must inform the manager of any changes. All information will remain confidential and be kept in a secure place.
Collaborating and developing a partnership with parents is paramount to us. Parents are their child's first teacher and know their child best. The knowledge and understanding you have about your child is precious and we value any contribution or input you can make to the centre programe.
Each step of your child's learning journey will be documented in a learning journal, we anticipate your involvement by sharing stories and photos from home of your child's interests, special events and precious moments.
Our socio-cultural approach to early childhood education is reliant on the involvement of families, whanau and the wider community. We believe it takes "a village to raise a child" and we will endeavour to establish a web of relationships within the centre and the community that will ensure your child has a sense of belonging.
