The centre will be open from 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. We will be closed on public holidays and for two weeks over the Christmas period.

Young Explorers is a full day centre and we require that children must attend a minimum of two days and be enrolled for at least 6.5 hours per day. This minimum childcare attendance enables regular settled care to happen and relationships to grow, encouraging strong, long term partnerships to develop with other children, educators and parents.

• Fees will be applied for the days your child is enrolled, regardless of whether your child has been able to attend (this applies to public holidays, illnesses or family holidays).
• Payment of fees is required for every week of the year.
• Invoices will be issued weekly and fees are to be paid one week in advance. Fees are payable by cheque, cash or automatic payment.
• Parents who are applying for a WINZ subsidy must get the subsidy pre-approved or pay normal fees until the centre receives the subsidy. The centre will reimburse parents for any over payment.
• We require two weeks written confirmation of your intention to withdraw your child from the centre or alternatively, two weeks fees are payable in lieu of notice.
• An additional late fee of $15.00 per 1/4 hour or part thereof will be charged if you are late collecting your child.
