If the home to centre basket is lost or damaged a new one will need to be replaced by parents. Children who are under two will receive a home to centre notebook until their daily routine becomes consistent (for example, one bottle and one sleep).
Sun safety is very important to us. It is our policy that all children wear a hat outside during the summer months. You need to ensure that a named hat is left at the centre or in their bag for your child to use.
We will ensure your child is adequately covered with sunscreen, wears appropriate clothing and a hat before heading outdoors.
The centre will provide a New Zealand Cancer Society sunblock for your child and apply it in the morning and after lunch. However if they have an allergy or sensitive skin, please bring along a named sunblock that is suitable. Please ensure you have already applied sunblock in the morning before arriving at Young Explorers.
